Most sealed lead acid (SLA) batteries<\/a> use a connection method called blade connectors<\/strong>. This system uses a flat, rectangular ‘blade’ (the terminal) that is inserted into a corresponding receptacle (the connector) to create a secure electrical connection. Usually, both the connector and receptacle have wires attached through soldering or crimping. Sometimes, pushing the receptacle onto the blade forms a connection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
